Glenn will be with the National Capital Concert Band for the first concert of the season on April 8, 2018 at Southminster United Church in old Ottawa South.

Glenn is back out on the book promotion trail this holiday Monday (August 7, 2017) from 1.00 PM to 5.00 PM at the Mount Dennis Community Association's Humberfest. Hope to see you there!

Primavera concert

The National Capital Concert Band is back at St. Basil's for its first concert of 2017, featuring guest singer Tzeitel Abrego. Hope to see you on Sunday, April 2 at 1.30 PM.

Burning question: will the CD of NCCB Christmas music be ready in time? 

Or will the band have to play live?

Toronto Heritage Book Award

The Toronto Carrying Place has been nominated for the 2016 Heritage Toronto book award. The competition this year is fierce, with many great books nominated, including works by Toronto notables John Sewell and Bob Rae.

Glenn will be shaking in his boots at the Award Ceremony on Monday, October 17 at the Isabel Badel Theatre, 93 Charles Street West, in Toronto. Tickets are available through the Royal Conservatory of Music.

Legendary Spring concert!

Glenn will be doing the talking during the National Capital Concert Band's Saturday, April 2 concert at St. Basil's Church, 940 Rex Avenue, Ottawa. The concert starts at 1.30 PM. See you there!

Swansea Historical Society

Glenn will be speaking to the Swansea Historical Society on Wednesday, February 3 at 7.15 PM. The Society meets in the old Swansea Town Hall at 95 Lavinia Avenue, Toronto, Ont. M6S 3H9, not far from the foot of the Toronto Carrying Place. Glenn will have books on hand for sale.

NCCB Christmas concert
